Since his winning his first bout, Biosse has gone on to win his division at the Rocky Marciano Tournament in Brockton, Massachusetts, for amateur boxers.
During the first round Knockout win over Jeffery Osborne Jr., Biosse had broken his hand meaning he would not able to fight as soon as he would like.
After Biosse broke his hand he went to the best hand surgeon in the world Dr. Steven Margles – the same surgeon who fixed “Irish” Micky Ward and Paulie Malignaggi’s hands. Biosse claims that he feels no pain in his hand though he admits that immediately after the operation he thought that Dr. Margles had turned him into some sort of Frankenstein’s monster. Vladine, who once suffered a knee injury during college says that his road to recovery from the football injury was more difficult as he was tentative coming back and afraid to hit full force on the injured knee.
